Day 1: Danang arrival – Hue

Arriving Danang airport. You will be picked up and transferred to Hue – Charming citadel. Spend your night at hotel in Hue.

Day 2: Hue full day Charming tour (B, L)

Hue served as Vietnam’s capital under the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945 and the city’s regal past can still be seen inside the walls of the Citadel and the Imperial City. The first feeling that Hue deeply touches yours soul is charming. That beautiful city is situated along the two sides of Perfume River.

In the morning, our guide picks you up at the hotel at 8.00 a.m . Board into Dragon Boat along the charming Perfume River. Visit the tranquil pagoda named Thien Mu. From there, the car will take you to the Imperial Citadel, once the seat of the Emperors of the powerful Nguyen Dynasty that ruled Vietnam from approximately 1800 to 1945. You’ll then enter via the Noon Gate to wander around the Thai Hoa Palace, the Pavilion housing the Nine Urns of the Nguyen rulers, and the remains of the Royal Palaces.Lunch time is for experiencing a typical garden house - a unique feature of Hue named Y Thao Garden. Enjoy the delicious dishes, cooked by the host - Madame Cuc who prepares and serves a traditional meal based on the distinctive characteristics of classic Hue cuisine. In the afternoon, have a drive to the two best King tombs. If Minh Mang tomb is the most majestic one, then Khai Dinh tomb shows the complete contrast as a concrete construction. Late afternoon tea, get back to the hotel. We end the tour or choose other options as a Hue folk music show on Dragon Boat. Be back hotel for your overnight.

Day 3: Hue – Hoi An half day city tour (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel, relax till the driver will come to pick you up at 8.00 a.m to transfer to Hue. On the Way you might want to stop at Cham mesum or marble mountain for quick visit. Upon Hoi An arrival, you will follow the afternoon tour.

Most visitors to Hoi An spend a lot of time walking through the ancient streets, buying clothes, shoes and paintings in the town’s famous shops. But how many visitors get to discover the simple life of the villagers, watch the children at play and experience the warmth of their welcome while enjoying the beautiful scenery, such as bamboo, churches and thatched cottages. We will take you on a “ Pedicab or Xich Lo ” tour with an experienced local guide who will show you the more interesting hidden parts of this beautiful town. Everything is guaranteed to give you a sense of serenity.

Itinerary:

In the afternoon, our local guide will meet you at the hotel in the town and ride a “Xich Lo” through the opposite site of Hoi An River bank where you can take a panorama of Hoi An town. Keep on the “Xich Lo” through the tiny lanes of Hoi An countryside, passing the fields of corn, sweet potatoes, beautiful local fruit-garden ... Stop over the local fishing village, get on the boat for 2 hours streaming down the Cua Dai estuary to enjoy the sunset on the river. Back to the hotel.

Day 4: Hoi An – My Son sanctuary half day – Departure (B, L)

This tour is a must-see for those who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations. My Son sanctuary was an imperial city during the Champa dynasty, between the 4th and the 12th centuries.

We travel about 50km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area. Be back Hoi an town for lunch at the local restaurant and then relax till the driver come to pick you up and transfer to airport for your flight back.
